SICK LEAVE POLICY FOR LIAT EMPLOYEES

LIAT is no longer paying employees for uncertified sickness beyond the number of days allowed by local legislation. This is according to a press release from the regional airline issued today.

The Leeward Islands Airline Pilots Association (LIALPA) has noted the public comments of Chairman of the Shareholder Governments, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves in the October 19th 2016 Edition of the Barbados Today Newspaper.
