Jamaican patties accepted in St Lucia

Industry and Commerce Minister, Karl Samuda, has expressed disappointment at having to intervene once again to prevent Jamaican patties being denied entry into another Caribbean country.

While attending a trade meeting underway in Guyana, Samuda was informed that a shipment of Jamaican beef patties to St Lucia had been detained because of concerns regarding the use of beef from the United States of America.

Bounty Killer Gets back his Passport.

Dancehall artiste Rodney 'Bounty Killer' Pryce was all smiles when his wish for his passport to be returned was granted by an Area Resident Magistrate's yesterday Friday December 3rd 2010.


His attorney Christopher Townsend, made the application for the passport which was taken from the artiste by the police as a condition for his $500,000 bail in an assault case.
