No All Clear Given: Observe Shutdown Protocols

This reminder is coming from Minister of Home Affairs, Adriel Brathwaite, who took issue with some business houses opening their doors today as Barbados remains under a tropical storm warning for the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew.

Weather Statement for Barbados

The Barbados Meteorological Services continues to monitor the progress of a strong tropical wave about 537nautical  miles / 618 statute miles ( 995km) to the east of Barbados. The overall cloud pattern continues to improve over the past few hours as the system slowly becomes better organized. However at this time most of the associated deep convection remains north of the broad center.
