Barbados: Fatal Accident

Police are conducting investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Road fatality which occurred sometime after 2:00 am on Saturday the 12th of August 2017, along Dash Valley Road St. George, which resulted in the death of Shane Jamol Belle 35 years, and injuries to his two (2) friends Michael Payne 24 years, and Rasheed Phillips 22 years, all of Dash Valley St. George.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO)’s continued efforts at promoting service and business excellence in the region’s tourism and hospitality sector has received a financial boost from the regional financial institution that focuses on harmonious economic growth and development in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), through its Caribbean Technological Consultancy Services (CTCS) Network is providing US$223,312 in support of the two key components of the Hospitality Assured (HA) Caribbean certification programme managed by the CTO as part of its product development and service quality thrust.

Despite Crime Barbados still safe to live

Barbados remains a safe and secure place for residents and visitors despite a recent spike in crime.

And, with the Crop Over season expected to move into high gear over the coming weeks, Acting Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith, has sounded the warning bell to expect more stop and searches as lawmen seek to weed out the criminal element and ensure the safety of others.
